The annual list was launched two years ago to highlight the major role played by female leaders in large and small cinema operations and related fields around the world in an industry that still suffers from significant gender imbalance in senior roles.
The criteria for one to be selected on the annual list is not because of her title, the size of the company she works for, or how many times she’s been on a stage in the past year. The nomination mainly is focused on women who inspire, innovate, and influence.
*Celluloid Junkie is a leading online resource dedicated to the global film and cinema business. It tracks the business, technology, personalities, events, trade shows, news and trends that relate to the world of motion picture exhibition.
